Ronda Morris’s passion for creating art began at a young age and her artistic abilities came naturally. As a self-taught artist, she quickly learned the fundamentals of drawing and at the age of 10 Ronda began to experiment with different mediums such as charcoal, pastel and oil paint. Later she became interested in figure, painting custom professional portraits for over 15 years. More recently Ronda has combined her art career with her love for traveling, focusing on painting places she’s visited or places of interest around the world.

 

Born and raised in Michigan Ronda is no stranger to the beauty the Great Lake State has to offer and her work reflects some of the most memorable sites she’s visited. During her transition from portrait to landmarks, Ronda developed her own personal style of painting expressed by lively, gestural brushstrokes with interesting contrasts of light and color.
